Omakase (ō-mə-‘kä-(,)sā) from Japanese 'to entrust' (任せる) or 'I'll leave it up to you’.

Nestled within the famed Rodeo Collection on Rodeo Drive, Sushi Note Omakase was created by the hospitality veteran duo behind the original Sushi Note in Sherman Oaks, Andy Paxson and Dave Gibbs. The 14-seat restaurant offers a thoughtfully curated sushi program that takes guests on a twenty-course journey imagined by celebrated head sushi chef, Kiminobu Saito.

Long-time sushi chef mentee and the restaurant’s culinary director, Earl Aguilar along with beverage director, Ian Lokey bring you an unexpected (and often rare) food and beverage pairing thoughtfully selected to enhance each course.

Sushi Note’s omakase offering melds premium, imported Japanese market fish with both cutting edge and traditional sushi preparation techniques mastered by Chef Saito. Each evening, the menu will showcase the finest, seasonal fish and ingredients available from overseas to create superior, carefully prepared nigiri and sashimi dishes. Guests can experience this sophisticated and inventive craftmanship through the two hour seatings starting at 6pm and 8pm.
